Terms of Service

Effective: August 30, 2026

This is an English translation provided for convenience. In case of any conflict, the Korean version prevails.

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between muit (the “Company”) and users in connection with heywavv (the “Service”), the AI mastering service provided by the Company.

Article 2 (Definitions)

The “Service” means the online service that analyzes audio uploaded by users (finished mixes or stems) and delivers mixed/mastered results together with an analysis report. A “Member” is a user who signs up with a social account (Kakao, Google) or by email verification; a “Guest” is a user who tries the Service without signing up.

Article 3 (Effect and Amendment of the Terms)

These Terms take effect upon being posted within the Service. The Company may amend the Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law, giving notice at least 7 days before the effective date (30 days for changes unfavorable to users).

Article 4 (Scope of the Service)

The Company provides: ① automatic audio analysis and mastering, ② stem mastering, ③ analysis reports, and ④ download and storage of processed results. The quality of results depends on the condition of the input audio, and the Company does not guarantee any particular quality level.

Article 5 (Accounts and Guest Use)

Membership registration is completed by linking a Kakao or Google account, or by email verification (a one-time code, no password). You must be at least 14 years old to create an account. Guests may try the Service for one track without signing up; tracks processed as a Guest are transferred to the account upon sign-up. Guest data is tied to the browser session and may become inaccessible once the session expires.

Article 6 (Rights to Content)

Copyright and all rights to audio uploaded by users and to the processed results belong to the user. The Company uses the audio only to the extent necessary to provide the Service (analysis, processing, storage, delivery), and does not use it for other purposes or provide it to third parties. Users must upload only audio they hold lawful rights to, and are responsible for any issues arising from uploads that infringe the rights of others.

Article 7 (Paid Services, Payment, and Refunds)

The Company may offer paid plans (such as PRO and STUDIO), whose prices and details are posted on the pricing page within the Service. Payments and refunds follow applicable laws, including the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce of Korea. As processed audio is digital content produced individually per order, withdrawal may be restricted once processing has been completed; the Company gives notice of this before payment. Detailed refund standards and procedures follow the Refund Policy.

For customers outside Korea, orders are processed by FastSpring, the Company's authorized online reseller and Merchant of Record. FastSpring handles payment, invoicing, applicable taxes, and refund processing for those orders under its own terms and privacy policy; the Company remains responsible for providing the Service.

Article 8 (Prohibited Conduct)

Users must not: ① upload audio that infringes the rights of others; ② use the Service abnormally (bulk processing via automation, repeated abuse of the trial, etc.); ③ reverse engineer the Service or attempt to extract its processing algorithms; ④ engage in conduct that violates the law or public order.

Article 9 (Changes to and Suspension of the Service)

The Company may change or discontinue all or part of the Service for operational or technical reasons. Material changes unfavorable to paying users will be announced in advance, and the Company will take measures required by applicable law.

Article 10 (Limitation of Liability)

The Company is not liable for interruptions caused by force majeure such as natural disasters or telecommunications failures. For services provided free of charge, the Company bears no liability except as specifically provided by applicable law. Users are encouraged to download and separately store their results; the Company’s liability for loss of stored files is limited to the scope prescribed by applicable law.

Article 11 (Dispute Resolution and Governing Law)

The Company and users shall attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute arising from use of the Service; failing that, a suit may be brought before the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act of Korea. These Terms are interpreted under the laws of the Republic of Korea.
